This ski chalet is a 3700 square foot second home for a family at a private ski resort.  Located in upstate New York, the owner requested a site-specific design concept which took advantage of the dramatically sloping site.  Key elements of the design include a walkout basement, a large mudroom for bulky ski gear, dramatic, high windows and ceilings to take advantage of views, and a large fireplace and stone chimney.
